Contemporary Christian rock group Skillet has released the second single from its new album, Unleashed. The openly worshipful Stars is one of the band’s most unabashedly Christian-leaning tracks, and Christian AC and Christian CHR is responding to it positively. After the Top 2 success of Unleashed‘s first single, the decidedly harder-edged Feel Invincible, Stars–penned by band members John and Korey Cooper alongside Seth Mosley and Jason Ingram–is a brilliant albeit more AC radio-friendly follow-up, and I think it’s absolutely brilliant.
