Contemporary Christian singer/songwriter Micah Tyler has released Never Been a Moment from his new EP, Different (Fair Trade Services). The Buna, TX worship leader was named “National Male Vocalist of the Year” by the Gospel Music Association in 2012 Immerse Conference, and four years later, after extensive touring with artists like Building 429, Colton Dixon, Phil Wickham, Shane & Shane, Josh Wilson, Sanctus Real and Phillips, Craig and Dean, Tyler finally has a platform.
Never Been a Moment is a great pop/rock song. A catchy chorus and passionate delivery make this one of the hottest new radio singles around, and as of this writing, Never Been a Moment is knocking on the door of Top 10 status on Christian AC airplay. Written by Tyler with songwriter Jeff Pardo, this declaration of God’s faithfulness, love, and omnipresence in our lives is clearly hitting positive notes with evangelicals all across America. I predict a Top 10 finish for this track, putting him in tough competition with Zach Williams for next year’s New Artist of the Year plug at the Dove Awards, IMHO.
