Big Bang, “Fantastic Baby”

Korean superstar group Big Bang has released the third video off its new Alive album. G-Dragon, T.O.P., Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri have created an ambitious project never fully implemented to this kind of quality in K-Pop, which is to create music videos for every track on the album. The first song to receive a video was the emotional Blue, followed by the more hip-hop oriented Bad Boy. The latest, Fantastic Baby, is the best of all three thus far, in my opinion, and deserves every ounce of airplay it generates, because Fantastic Baby, is extremely radio-friendly. I love every bit of it: T.O.P’s deep-voiced rap (I’m also digging his look and wanna copy it BAD); Taeyang and Daesung’s vocal showcases, Seungri’s naughty lines, and, of course, G-Dragon’s total fierceness. Meanwhile, the video, is rife with symbolism; any V.I.P., as Big Bang fans are known, will get the many rich images and insider information scattered throughout this interesting video. Fantastic baby
