Contemporary Christian pop-rock legends Newsboys have released God’s Not Dead (Like a Lion), the carrier track of the new worship album, God’s Not Dead, dropping all across the USA and internationally in CD and digital formats on November 15. I’m loving God’s Not Dead (Like a Lion)! The song is instantly singable and memorable; the guitar work is well-done and the drum and bass work so well together, it’s just powerful. And that chorus! How can you not mosh to God’s Not Dead (Like a Lion)?! There’s something raw and powerful about God’s Not Dead (Like a Lion), I think it’s speaking to me as a man desperate for for songs that speak about God’s wildness, unpredictability, and fierceness. We’ve gotten so caught up in the God of love that we’ve forgotten that God is also a God of justice, and a God of strength, and a God Who will not let evil get away with evil. I love God’s Not Dead (Like a Lion)!
