Contemporary Christian pop-rock band Casting Crowns is coming back with a new CD! (Just a few weeks after I’d griped about it. LOL) Courageous is the first single off Come to the Well, set for release on October 18, 2011. It is the follow-up to the multi-platinum 2009 release Until the Whole World Hears, which spawned the #1 hits Until the Whole World Hears and Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me).
Courageous is also an appropriate track for Father’s Day to encourage and challenge fathers everywhere to bravely accept the challenge given them by God to be godly examples to their children and spouses. It is the carrier single – and title track, apparently – to Courageous, a new film from the creators of Fireproof. A powerful reminder of the impact fathers have on their kids, as well as the legacy they will leave for future generations, Courageous will be in wide release in the United States on September 30, 2011.
